The Art School Restaurant is in Liverpool’s Georgian Quarter and first opened in September 2014. Over the last three years it has firmly established itself as Liverpool’s favourite restaurant with a reputation for excellence in food and service.
In 2017 it was named in The Sunday Times Top 100 Restaurants and the Visit England Taste of England Winner 2017. It appears in the 2018 Hardens’s top 100 Best UK Restaurants. It has been awarded 2 AA rosettes three years running and has received critical acclaim from both the Michelin and Good Food guides.
The restaurant was awarded Restaurant of the year at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards 2016, The Merseyside Independent Business Awards 2016 and The Cheshire & Lancashire Life Food & Drink Awards in 2015.
The restaurant has its own newly opened Private Dining Rooms, The Moriarty Rooms. Seating up to 30 guests, the sumptuous space is served by its own kitchen, bar and cloakroom – ideal for corporate events and special occasions.
Downstairs there is a new cellar bar, The Art School Cellars.
A bespoke Champagne and wine cellar, where Paul and his team share a handpicked selection of premium Champagnes, over 300 fine wines, British cheeses and artisan Charcuterie plus an extensive cocktail list coupled with fresh bread and small dishes available to order - all made by The Art School Restaurant team.
Prices in the restaurant start from £25.00 for a 2 course Prix Fixe Menu.
Private dining is available in the Moriarty Dining Room which can be seen on the fourth gallery image.
Head up Leece St, until you get to Hope Street. Once at Hope Street, follow the A5039 around, to the back of the Liverpool Philharmonic, taking the first road on the right. The Art School Restaurant is located on this road, and is the only door on Sugnall Street.
For Train:The Closest station is Liverpool Central. Exit the station on Bold Street, and turn left, walking up the road until you hit the traffic lights, connecting Berry Street, Leece Street, and Renshaw Street. Cross over the road and walk up Leece Street, until you see the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. Continue to walk around the side of the Philharmonic and The Art School Restaurant is located on Sugnall Street, directly across the road from the back of the Philharmonic.
