The LFC Stadium Tour will be re-opening from 6th July 2020.

To ensure visitor safety, extensive health and safety measures have been implimented to make the tour a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Capacity will be limited to allow visitors to maintain social distancing and all tours must be booked in advance. 

Hand sanitising stations on entry have been installed and enhanced cleaning regimes have been applied. For more information on the health and safety guidelines at the LFC Stadium Tour please see their website here.

As part of the re-opening of the LFC Stadium Tour a brand new tour, The Anfield Origins Tour has been launched. Taking place in the external surroundings of the stadium you can learn more about the history of the club. 

The Boot Room Sports Cafe will remain closed, however, Anfield's superstore will be open to the public. 

The LFC Stadium Tour

No trip to the city is complete without a visit to Anfield Stadium, home of Liverpool Football Club. The LFC Stadium Tour is a truly memorable experience for all, whether you're a fan of the beautiful game, or interested in the history of the Club and the city of Liverpool itself. 

  • Enjoy epic views of the pitch and city landscape from the top level of the Main Stand.
  • Visit the state-of-the-art Home and Away Team dressing rooms
  • Practice your interview technique in the Press Room
  • Touch the famous This Is Anfield sign
  • Take a spine-tingled walk down the Player’s tunnel
  • Sit in Klopp's seat in the Manager's Dugout
  • Take photos of the pitch and impressive Main Stand from the famous Kop. 

The Tour has been written by lifelong LFC fans and writers, Dave Kirby and Nicky Allt, with narration by actor, David Morrissey.

Visitors can choose from 11 different languages and use the multimedia audio handsets to fully immerse themselves, taking the tour at their own pace. Our friendly and knowledgeable tour guides will also be available throughout your tour to answer any questions and help make the most of your visit. 

Enjoy epic highlights

You will enjoy epic views of the pitch and city landscape from the top level of the Main Stand. Use your handset’s technology here to see and hear for yourself Anfield’s famous matchday atmosphere.  

See where your heroes prepare for the big game in the state-of-the-art Home Team Dressing Room. Sit in your favourite player’s seat and watch exclusive videos about each player using your handset. Discover which former player and LFC Legend reveals his best opposition team when you visit the Away Team Dressing Room. Take part in a lively and interactive press conference with your tour guide in the Press Room. Touch the This is Anfield sign before walking down the Player’s Tunnel to the sound of the Anfield roar. Take your seat in the Manager’s Dugout and then finish your tour in The Kop.​

The Liverpool FC Story

Your ticket also includes entry to the Club's interactive museum, The Liverpool FC Story. 

Explore 127 years of the Club's history, including historic Club memorabilia and see all six European cups. 

Don't miss the museum's The Steven Gerrard Collection, the former captain's exclusive personal collection of footballing memorabilia. Among the items on display are Gerrard's LFC and England shirts, signed opposition shirts, medals, trophies and awards, England caps and match items from Istanbul 2005.

Children can use the handsets to play interactive games and activities. There's also low-level facts to read throughout the museum specially written by Mighty Red, the Club's official mascot and number one fan.

Road Directions

Anfield is easily accessible from all major routes into Liverpool. The ground is only 3 miles from the city centre, 4 miles from the M62 and 7 miles from the end of the M57 and M58. The ground is well signposted from the city centre. Weekday visitors to the club can park in either the Main Stand or the Centenary Stand car parks, except on mid-week match-days and subject to available spaces.

Public Transport Directions

Public transport runs regular to Liverpool Anfield. (for more details see www.merseytravel.gov.uk) From the City Centre you can take many buses that drop you off outside Anfield For fans Accessing Anfield Stadium on Matchdays - regeneration work continues meaning changes to some pedestrian routes around Anfield Stadium. Fans should allow extra time to get to the stadium. No pedestrian access permitted on Rockfield Road, Back Rockfield Road or Lothair Road. Fans will be rerouted via Anfield Road and Walton Breck Road. Routine road closures prior to kick-off remain as per last season. There will be no changes to car parking access and facilities, taxi drop off points or key bus services including Merseytravel’s Soccer Bus and 917 services.
