Commuter & Cross-River Service

Weekday Commuter Service will operate between 07:20 – 09:50 and 17:00 - 18:50

A cross-river sailing will depart Pier Head at 16:00 and depart Woodside at 16:30. This additional service is to help passengers cross the river during the current restrictions. 

All services will operate from will operate from Pier Head and Woodside Ferry Terminal from Monday 4 January 2021, whilst Seacombe is closed for major refurbishment work. For more information please see the website for travel advice. 

See the best views of the Liverpool Waterfront on the world famous Mersey Ferry with our 50-minute River Explorer Cruise. Guided by expert commentary throughout the cruise you can sit back, relax and take in the captivating views of the UNESCO World Heritage waterfront. River Explorer Cruise tickets also include admission to U-boat Story at Woodside terminal.

A short hop back on the River Explorer Cruise takes you to Woodside Ferry Terminal to visit the fantastic U-boat Story. Discover an amazing and unique insight into life on-board U-534 through the exhibition's interactive and audio-visual exhibits.
