River of Light 2019

About

River of Light will return to Liverpool in November 2019.  A light festival and fireworks! This year's nine-day festival is bigger and bettter than ever.

From Friday 1 November to Saturday 9 November, Liverpool's waterfront will be transformed with light, colour and sound as ten commissions from artists and organisations from across Europe are installed.

River of Light 2019 will see Liverpool waterfront become the must-visit selfie-spot, as the artworks become illuminated from 5pm - 10pm daily.

For full details on the River of Light festival, head to our dedicated page.

Titanium Fireworks – one of the world’s leading pyrotechnic companies – will stage two simultaneous displays in Liverpool and in New Brighton. They will start at 6.30pm on Sunday 3 November and the soundtrack will feature artists who have performed in the city this year.

All River of Light events and installations are completely free.
