Finding somewhere to eat when you’re out and about with the kids can often be a bit of a stress, so to make your visit to Liverpool a bit easier, we have done all the hard work for you!


We’ve found some of the best places in the city to take the kids for something to eat that have dedicated children’s menus or places we think the kids would love. From make-your-own-pizza to free food and even menus to colour in - eating out has never been so easy. 
 

Lu Ban


Popular Chinese inspired restaurant in the Baltic Triangle, Lu Ban, have a special Little Lu Ban children’s menu for the kids to tuck into. Featuring popcorn chicken, straw fries, noodles, rice and greens, they can tuck into the tasty dishes alongside the whole family. 

 

Moose Coffee

Breakfast time with the kids calls for a trip to Moose Coffee on Dale Street or Hope Street. With miniature versions of Moose classics such as Mini Pancakes, Mini Waffles and the Mini Mighty, the kids will definitely be ready to tackle the day after this breakfast. 
 

The Quarter

The Quarter on Falkner Square offers the littles ones a whole menu for themselves. They get breadsticks to start a drink, can choose from a selection of pastas and pizzas and round it all off with ice cream for dessert, all for £8.00. There is even a children’s breakfast menu for if you’re looking for somewhere to eat in the morning. 
 

Lunya


Spanish tapas always goes down well so we would recommend heading over to Lunya or Lunyalita with the kids to sample theirs. The children's meal deal is a great way to introduce them to tapas. Enjoy a drink, a choice of tapas, fries and a scoop of ice cream all for just £9.50. 
 

Smuggler's Cove


Smuggler's Cove on the Royal Albert Dock is a treasure trove for the youngsters. For just £6.95 they can get a main and a dessert in this sophisticated pirate themed restaurant. Pick from cheeseburger, Chicken burger, sausage and mash and lots more from their beautiful menu, there will be something to satisfy even the fussiest of eaters here! 
 

Albert's Schenke


The kids will love their own German inspired menu at Albert's Schenke. From mini burgers to chicken schnitzel, pasta and chocolate brownies, it will be clean plates all round. With any main and a drink for £8 you can't really go wrong. 
 

Rudy's Pizza


They don’t have a specific children's menu but you can't really go wrong with pizza for the kids. Castle Street’s latest pizzeria, Rudy's has loads of different toppings they can choose from so you can all share your favourites. 
 

Turtle Bay


Turtle Bay is that good, Liverpool has two! It’s also a great place to take the kids for something to eat. The Caribbean inspired restaurant has menus for Tiny Turtles which includes all the best bits from the main menu which they can colour in too!
 

Smoke & Dough


Smoke & Dough on the Terrace at Liverpool ONE is the perfect place for a family meal. The unique interactive American-Italian restaurant grills and serves the finest meats at your table straight to your plate. It’s like a show and dinner in one! The dedicated kids menu will also keep the younger family members satisfied too. 
 

Viva Brazil 


Viva Brazil on Castle Street let kids under 10 eat free with each full paying adult! The Brazilian restaurant has a large range of options for the kids whilst the adults can enjoy the Rodizio style of serving the best meat around. 
 

The Bagelry


For a little snack, head over to The Bagelry on Nelson Street for some rainbow bagels. The kids will love these and you can take them to go or sit in and enjoy a cup of coffee whilst resting your legs.
 

Mowgli


One of Liverpool’s best loved restaurants, Mowgli, always have their doors open for the entire family. With two sites in the city, the Indian Street Food establishment is a must when visiting the city with the kids. They’ve even put together a children’s menu with some recommended choices off the fantastic main menu including Kids Gunpowder chicken & Fries, Mother Butter Chicken, Mowgli Paneer and lots more!
 

Baltic Market


The Baltic Market in the Baltic Triangle is a great place to take the whole family because of the range of different food on offer. The street food market has loads of different stalls that change all the time so you never know what you’ll find in there - the kids will love it!
 

Tate Liverpool Cafe


For lunch mixed in with a bit of contemporary art, take the kids over to Tate Liverpool Cafe. Enjoy the afternoon exploring the amazing galleries and tuck into a selection of child friendly dishes alongside some colouring activities too. 
 

Brasco Lounge


The Brasco Lounge on Mann Island is a great place to take the kids for lunch, with views of the waterfront and a kids menu full of options that they will love… you can't really go wrong. Tuck into kids versions of a classic full English, pancakes, pizza, burgers, falafel burgers and lots more! Each main meal also comes with a kids snack pot of hummus and carrots too. 

 

What's Cooking?
 

What’s Cooking? on the Royal Albert Dock has a menu for under 12’s that will be fit for the fussiest of eaters. They can choose from burgers, ribs, hot dogs, fish fingers and loads more so it’s a great place to head with the whole family for something to eat.
