Liverpool ONE and Royal Albert Dock

We promise that at Lunya or Lunyalita you’ll enjoy the finest Catalan tapas you’ll find outside of Barcelona! Lunya, in Liverpool ONE opened at their original site in 2010, now they’ve moved slightly up the road to a larger, fully accessible downstairs space and their restaurant, bar and deli is filled with Catalan and Spanish charm and somewhere the whole family will love. 

Lunyalita on Royal Albert Dock is the sister venue of Lunya, with a slightly more intimate vibe. It is set across two floors and has a stunning outdoor terrace for those sunny alfresco lunch days! 

Most importantly, their children’s menu is not only great value, but it’s packed with new dishes for your youngsters to try, alongside some kid-friendly favourites. Choose from patatas bravas, albondigas, crispy chicken strips, battered squid, pan-fried chorizo and loads more! Each tapa is served with fries or salad and a soft drink all for £7.25!

Mowgli
Bold Street and Water Street

One of Liverpool’s best-loved restaurants, and the creation of Nisha Katona, Mowgli, always has its doors open for the entire family. They have two locations in Liverpool, their first on Bold Street and the larger, two-floor venue on the edge Castle Street and Water Street. Kids will love the playful, twinkly interiors and especially the tables with swings for seats!

The Indian street-food restaurant has created a menu just for kids that includes favourites off the main menu like Gunpowder Chicken and fries, Mother Butter chicken, Mowgli paneer and a whole selection of delicious home-made ice cream! There’s even a selection of mocktails on the menu that youngsters will love. We recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment!

Duke Street Market is perfect when you’re out with the family because you can all have a little bit of what you fancy! Choose from six kitchens; Picar - Spanish cuisine, Bone & Block - steakhouse, Cahita - Latin America street food, Ginger - Asian bowl food, Big Lola’s Taqueria - Mexican dishes and Barnacle, focussing on local produce. 

There’s no need to book, just walk in and sit down on the bench seating downstairs or head upstairs to the more intimate seating areas. Scan the QR code on the table for the menu and order and pay with your smartphone and the food will arrive at your table when it’s ready!

Revolucion de Cuba

Salsa your way down to the Royal Albert Dock and bring the whole family for a fiesta at Revolucion de Cuba! Enjoy
some tapas or a full Latin-American style feast in the rustic surroundings of the historic Albert Dock warehouse restaurant. 

Their kids' menu is packed with tasty dishes and is of incredible value. Kids can choose from their selection of mains including quesadillas, grilled chicken, tacos and meatballs, a side, a portion of veggies and a dessert for just £6! Add a soft drink for an extra £1.50.

At the cosy, Alpine Germany-inspired Albert’s Schenke, they’ve made a Kindermenu just for the youngsters. Try the German classic, chicken schnitzel or choose from a mini burger, pasta or fish and chips! And don’t forget a dessert a delicious chocolate brownie or ice cream of the day! For £8, the kids will be smiling and so will you.

Baltic Market in Liverpool Cains Brewery Village is not only child friendly but it’s dog friendly too! So you can make your day a real family affair. The massive converted warehouse is decorated with art from local artists, disco balls, and twinkly lights and there’s often a happy and social atmosphere. 

Baltic Market is the perfect place to keep everyone happy with vendors like Little Furnace Pizza, Listo Burrito, Spice Thai drunken noodles and pad thai, Meatball Molly’s Polpetta serving up meatball subs, pastas and sides. There’s Richies burgers where you can enjoy nuggets and loaded fries, there’s kebabs and Liverpool-famous Halloumi fries on the menu at Hafla Hafla, bistro-style food at La Bistroteca and decadent desserts like bubble waffles, brownies, cheesecake and more are on offer at the Midnight delivery.

Pho offers a healthy Vietnamese menu of food, cooked fresh every day! 40% of their menu is completely vegan and almost the entire menu is gluten-free which is hard to find. Choose from authentic Vietnamese street food starters, salads, pho, noodles, vermicelli noodles, sides and desserts! 

Their kids menu is priced at just £6.95 for a meal and a drink and kiddies can choose from a selection of noodle dishes, soup, rice or skewers. There are also desserts to choose from just 50p. You can’t go wrong!

LEAF on Bold Street 

LEAF is a firm favourite in Liverpool, a cosy, family-friendly cafe on the bohemian Bold Street. Originally launched as a small tea shop in 2007, the cafe now sells and serves over 60 quality loose-leaf teas in their art deco-style building. 

Inside the comfy leather chairs, multi-coloured tables and chairs, plants and string lights create a warm and friendly atmosphere. The main menu is packed with loads of different food options to choose from.  Pick from small plates like soup of the day, bao buns, loaded hummus, falafel, chorizo and buttermilk chicken. There are also sharing boards, sandwiches, sarnies and main plates like steak, pan-fried chicken, veggie curry and more!

Nova Scotia
Waterfront

An independent bar and eatery located on Liverpool Waterfront, Mann Island. The restaurant celebrates Liverpool‘s forgotten Nova Scotia district that was once an integral part of Liverpool's maritime industry. 

The relaxed and airy restaurant is ideally placed opposite the Museum of Liverpool and has a great alfresco area for those warmer, sunny days!
