This video takes viewers on a journey through the region’s diverse food and drink offerings, highlighting the passion, creativity, and dedication of local producers, chefs, and artisans.


The importance of local produce to the city region’s hospitality offer is showcased through the lush farmlands where organic fruits and vegetables are carefully cultivated at Claremont Farm. Take a trip across the River Mersey for the fresh catch brought in daily at Wards Fish and find out where premium beef is raised at Storeton Belted Galloway and sold at Edge and Sons butchers. Add all this to the famous Formby asparagus and the succulent Southport potted shrimps for a snapshot view of the region's abundance of locally sourced ingredients.


The video also showcases the region's burgeoning restaurant scene, with visits to The Art School, LEAF, Delifonseca and Squash highlighting how they use local ingredients in their dishes.
