It’s set to be one of the BIGGEST weekends of the year in Liverpool as we welcome BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, celebrate Liverpool FC’s Premier League win and witness a Cunard Queen sail into the Mersey.

BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend 

May 23-25

Sefton Park transforms into a musical haven as BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend takes over the city. The star-studded lineup features some of music’s biggest names 

Friday: Tom Grennan, Biffy Clyro, The Wombats, James Hype
 

Saturday: Sam Fender (headliner)
 

Sunday: Mumford & Sons (headliner)
 

Limited tickets are still available for Friday so make sure you get them whilst you can.

Liverpool FC Victory Parade 

May 26

Celebrate Liverpool FC's record-equalling 20th league title with a grand victory parade on Monday, May 26. 

The 15km route starts at Allerton Maze at 2:30 PM, winding through Queens Drive, Mill Bank, West Derby Road, Islington, Leeds Street, and The Strand, concluding at Blundell Street.

There’s plenty of places across the route to catch a look at the Red’s with the trophy so make sure to plan your day in advance.

The Walk of Stars 

23-25 May
 

Stroll from Liverpool ONE to Royal Albert Dock and discover over 70 stars honouring artists performing at Radio 1’s Big Weekend. Snap selfies with your favourite acts' stars and enjoy live entertainment along the route. 

Liverpool ONE: The karaoke truck is back at the bottom of Sugar House Steps – this time with some extra special guest hosts! Whether you’re belting out a ballad or going full pop star, it’s your time to shine!

Royal Albert Dock: Hosted by Leanne Campbell, head to the Time to Shine podiums, it’s the perfect spot to show off your moves, sing along, or just enjoy the atmosphere.

The Red Weekender 

23–25 May


Join fellow Reds at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool for The Red Weekender, a celebration of Liverpool FC's season. Highlights include

Friday: BOSS Night's Istanbul 20-Year Anniversary Special with Rafa Benítez, Jamie Webster, and Lightning Seeds.

Sunday Morning: Family-friendly BOSS KIDS event featuring Jamie Webster.

Southport Beer Week

22–25 May 

Just a short trip from Liverpool City Centre, Southport hosts its inaugural Beer Week. Explore over 20 venues offering 80+ beers, live music, and special events throughout the town centre.

Salt and Tar Fringe Festival 

23–26 May

Head to Bootle's canal-side venue, Salt and Tar, for a diverse line-up of music, comedy, and arts. Highlights include a triple-headline comedy show on Friday, May 23, featuring top TV comedians.

Cunard Queen Anne Sailing 

26-27 May 

Witness maritime history as Cunard's newest ship, Queen Anne, arrives on May 26 and departs Liverpool on Tuesday, May 27. 

Alongside the visit, the Royal Liver Building will host Sea of Glamour – a new photography exhibition curated by Mary McCartney, showcasing nearly 200 years of unforgettable ocean travel.
