Arrival and Check-In at Hilton Liverpool

Morning Stroll and Coffee Break

Take a leisurely walk along the Royal Albert Dock, one of Liverpool’s most famous landmarks. Pop into one of the dock’s charming cafes for a hot chocolate or coffee:

 

  • Francie’s Focaccia & Coffee - If you’ve not seen their viral hot chocolates on TikTok yet then you need to look them up!
  • Peaberry Coffee House - a cosy venue with stunning views out across the dock.
  • Rough Handmade – a boutique bakery with fresh handmade pastries to take away

 

Visit the Museum of Liverpool

Dive into the city's rich history at the Museum of Liverpool (free entry). Don’t miss the Wondrous Place Gallery, showcasing Liverpool legends in film, TV, art, and sports.

If you’re a fan of Holly Johnson then you can also catch their current special exhibition, ‘The Holly Johnson Story’ for a small ticket fee whilst you’re at the museum.

Before leaving, snap a photo with the famous Beatles statue just outside the museum too.

 

Explore Liverpool ONE

Liverpool ONE is the perfect place to do a bit of Christmas shopping or indulge in a treat for yourself. With over 170 stores, bars and restaurants spend the morning ticking off your shopping list at shops like Zara, Space NK, John Lewis, M&S, Pull and Bear, Utility, The Lego Store, JD and lots more!

Grab another coffee at Joe & the Juice or Bean Coffee if you need an energy boost after sll the shopping too.

 

Defy gravity at the Upside Down House

Whilst you’re at Liverpool ONE - head to the quirky Upside Down House, where gravity-defying photo ops await! It’s a whimsical spot for Instagram-worthy content.

 

Lunch at Byron Burger

No need to leave Liverpool ONE yet! Savour a hearty lunch at Byron Burger, enjoying their wide selection of burgers, sides and brand new festive menu.  

 

Bar Hütte Christmas Fun

Experience festive cheer at Bar Hütte, nestled under Liverpool ONE’s giant Christmas tree at Chavasse Park. Sip some tasty cocktails or a warming hot chocolate in your cosy Hütte while soaking in the holiday vibes and belting out all the festive classics on the carol-oke.

 

Liverpool Christmas Markets

Stroll through the Liverpool Christmas Markets at St. George’s Hall. Feast on festive treats, shop for handmade crafts, and bask in the historic atmosphere of this iconic location, which has also served as a backdrop for major films like The Batman and Peaky Blinders.

 

Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto at the Everyman Theatre

End your day with Liverpool’s legendary Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto at the Everyman Theatre. This year’s show, Rapunzel, promises a lively and unforgettable evening, non-stop dancing and a whole lot of festive fun.

Their sister venue Liverpool Playhouse is also showing the Rocky Horror Show this Christmas so make sure you don’t miss out on tickets!

 

Day 2

 

Royal Liver Building 360 Tour

Kickstart your day with a guided tour of the Royal Liver Building, Liverpool’s most iconic landmark. Learn about its history and admire stunning panoramic views from the clocktower on the RLB360 Tour.

Fun fact: Did you know they filmed scenes from The Batman movie on top of the Royal Liver Building?

Dine at Nova Scotia, a waterfront gem offering hearty British dishes. Treat yourself to classics like Scouse or fish and chips, paired with a craft beer or cocktail and fuel yourself for an afternoon exploring the city.

 

British Music Experience

Immerse yourself in the story of British music at the British Music Experience in Liverpool’s iconic Cunard Building. Highlights include memorabilia from The Beatles, David Bowie, and Adele, plus the chance to play instruments in the music studio.

Don’t forget to check out the venue’s cameo in a recent Taylor Swift’s music video too. Swift filmed her music video for ‘I Can See You (Taylor’s Version)’ at The Cunard Building – so if you’re a Swiftie – this one’s for you.
