Christmas Events in Liverpool

Liverpool is a city with a thriving entertainment offer at any time of year, but at Christmas the city really comes alive.

Home to an array of unique attractions, an exciting event calendar, world-class football and races, unrivalled musical heritage and venues, stunning theatres and the largest collection of museums and galleries outside of London.

There's sub zero climates on the iconic Pier Head at the Liverpool Christmas Ice Festival, and shows to warm your cockles and your heart at one of the city's many theatres. Don't forget about our legendary Rock n Roll panto at the Everyman Theatre too.

Liverpool's Christmas Market will fill the air with festive sights, sounds and smells at St George's Plateau from November to December, welcoming visitors out of Lime Street.

Liverpool ONE will wow revellers with the tallest Christmas tree in the UK, complete with Bar Hutte and Caroloke. But up on Chavasse Park is where the magic of Christmas really happens, on a Polar Adventure to the North Pole.

Tucked away on Church Alley opposite the enchanting Bluecoat is where you'll find Liverpool's Light Spectacular, a 70-metre LED tunnel of light and music.

Take a look at what's in store this Christmas.
